Summary: As a Test Lead, you will spearhead the testing function for a large-scale digital transformation programme, ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, overseeing multiple teams and systems. You will be responsible for defining the test strategy and managing end-to-end testing activities. Occasional travel to Croydon may be required based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end testing activities including planning, execution, and reporting
- Define and maintain test strategy, frameworks, and quality standards
- Oversee automated testing using JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium
- Coordinate system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Ensure backend validation and data integrity using PostgreSQL
- Manage service virtualisation using WireMock
- Lead performance and load testing using JMeter
- Manage risks, dependencies, defects, and test resources
- Coach and mentor testers and automation engineers
- Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and tooling
Key Skills:
- Proven experience leading testing teams in complex environments
