Key Responsibilities:
- Take complete ownership of automating applications within the existing automation framework.
 - Analyse applications and identify areas for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
 - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
 - Enhance the current automation framework and suggest innovative approaches to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Business Analysts, Project Managers) to define automation requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
 - Propose and implement strategies to improve automation speed, accuracy, and reliability.
 - Participate in new QA initiatives, including AI-driven testing, data validation automation, and continuous integration enhancements.
 - Contribute to establishing best practices, coding standards, and reusable components for automation.
 - Identify and mitigate risks in the automation lifecycle, ensuring consistent and reliable testing outcomes.
 
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
 - Strong programming/scripting skills in C# or Java.
 - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
 - Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
 - Experience in data-driven testing and validation across complex systems or insurance applications.
 - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
 - Experience in improving and maintaining automation frameworks to support scalable test execution.
 - Knowledge of the insurance domain (underwriting, claims, policy management) is an advantage.
