Summary: We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer with expertise in the JEST framework and AWS services to join our team in London. The role focuses on designing and implementing automated tests for cloud-based applications, ensuring their quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate and deploy applications effectively. This position is a contract role classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using the JEST (Java springboot) framework.
• Create and maintain test scripts for AWS Lambda functions.
• Implement and manage test scenarios for event-driven architectures using AWS EventBridge.
• Develop and manage test cases for message queues using AWS SQS.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in the JEST framework.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and SQS.
• Familiarity with other AWS services such as DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
