Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our clients’ team in Sheffield. This role is ideal for a seasoned software engineer with over 7 years of experience, focusing on automation and cloud technologies. The position requires a strong foundation in software development and expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing complex systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automation frameworks and tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Rate: £500 - £525 per day inside ir35

Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our clients’ team in Sheffield. This role is ideal for a seasoned software engineer (7+ years of experience) with a strong foundation in software development and a passion for automation and cloud technologies. This is not a role for someone who has only dabbled in software development. We are looking for a true software engineer—someone who has built, maintained, and optimized complex systems and is now applying that expertise to automation.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across systems and environments.
