Automation Engineer - 500 - 525 per day (Outside IR35)

Location: In-Office 3 days a week

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join a leading Hedge Fund on a contract basis. This role will play a crucial part in automating and streamlining various infrastructure and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using Python, Terraform, and HashiCorp tools.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for various infrastructure tasks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Python programming skills with experience in Scripting and automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Terraform and HashiCorp tools (eg, Vault, Consul).
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
  • Familiarity with Rocky Linux operating system.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with containerization technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP).
