Summary: The Automation & Data Reporting Consultant (Power BI) role involves designing, automating, and delivering data reporting solutions to enhance reporting efficiency and support data-driven decisions. The position requires active SC clearance and focuses on utilizing Power BI for dashboard creation and data analysis. The consultant will work on-site three days a week in London and is expected to have strong experience in data reporting and analysis. This is a contract position with an initial duration of three months, likely to be extended.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate recurring data reporting processes to improve efficiency and data reliability
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI
- Carry out data analysis to identify trends, insights, and recommendations
- Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into robust data solutions
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and appropriate governance across reporting outputs
- Document automation logic and reporting processes
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, data modelling, dashboard design)
- Proven experience in data analysis and automated reporting
- Ability to work with multiple data sources (e.g. SQL databases, Excel, cloud-based platforms)
- Solid understanding of data transformation and preparation (Power Query)
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active SC clearance is essential
- Comfortable operating in an outside IR35 contracting environment

Security Clearance: Active SC clearance (essential)
Additional Clearance: NPPV3 (desirable)
