Summary: The Automation Consultant role at TPXimpact involves designing, deploying, and supporting automation solutions for clients using tools like Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate Desktop, and UiPath. The consultant will collaborate with clients to understand their needs, develop automation workflows, and ensure integration with existing systems, ultimately driving efficiency and innovation. This position requires a strong background in automation technologies and business process optimization. The consultant will also provide ongoing support and documentation for the automation solutions implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide delivery and support of automated processes aligned with TPXimpact’s standard automation delivery phases.
- Review and map backlogged processes as demonstrated by the client.
- Support quoting and effort estimation for automation builds with the Growth and Client Services Team.
- Analyse suitable automation technologies and highlight additional tools for innovation and efficiency.
- Draft and agree on the Process Definition Document (PDD) with the client.
- Produce the Solution Definition Document (SDD) detailing the technical solution.
- Develop the automation iteratively and demonstrate progress with client SMEs and TPXimpact teams.
- Engage in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the client and TPXimpact team.
- Implement client automation into the live environment and provide hyper-care for a smooth transition.
- Offer dedicated process support for fixes, changes, and knowledge sharing with the client.
- Maintain records of fixes and changes in TPXimpact’s Jira system.
- Produce Operating Processes Document for maintaining RPA solutions.
- Provide technical support to business applications and assist with bid documentation.
- Participate in regular client account meetings to provide technical expertise.
Key Skills:
- Experience in designing and deploying automation solutions using Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Automate.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and optimisation.
- Proven track record of delivering automation projects from concept to deployment.
- Experience with process discovery, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in automation development, testing, and deployment methodologies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of automation governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with UiPath automation (desirable).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or VBScript (desirable).
- Experience with OCR and surface automation techniques (desirable).
- Understanding of CSS selectors (desirable).
- Experience with AI-based automation enhancements (desirable).
