Summary: The Automation Application Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing automation workflows for a Financial Services client in London. This role involves close collaboration with RPA Business Analysts and other development teams to ensure the successful implementation of RPA solutions. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement, with three days on-site each week, and focuses on delivering high-quality automation processes that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test automation workflows for RPA solutions.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure proper interfacing of automation processes.
  • Work with RPA Business Analyst to evaluate and design process workflows.
  • Create and maintain the Solution Design Document (SDD) throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in constructing Business Cases and identify opportunities for RPA adoption.
  • Develop and deploy reliable processes for robots/bots using the REFramework.
  • Utilize C#.NET for developing peripheral functions and data reconciliation.
  • Develop SQL scripts for SQL Server and Oracle for data analysis and extra functions.
  • Communicate with C# developers to ensure acceptable data processing across systems.
  • Occasionally perform C# development tasks within a developer group.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in RPA development and implementation.
  • Proficiency in C#.NET and SQL scripting.
  • Knowledge of the Robotic Enterprise Framework (REFramework).
  • Ability to create and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDD).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in financial services or similar industries.
  • Understanding of data reconciliation and reporting tools.
