Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the multi-agency audit framework and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements.

About The Post

We are excited to be recruiting a full time Audit and Performance Officer to support the work of the Barnsley Children’s Safeguarding Partnership (BCSP) which is based at Westgate Plaza. The role is full time, permanent 37 hours per week. The Barnsley Children Safeguarding Partnership is a multi-agency arrangement which brings together agencies who work to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in Barnsley. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and committed professional to join our supportive team who will work closely with the Partnership Manager and other Officers in the development, monitoring and evaluation of the Partnerships business plan and key priorities. The Audit and Performance officer is responsible for the quarterly collection and reporting on the BCSP Multi-Agency Data Suite and will need to work collaboratively with colleagues and relevant safeguarding partners to co-ordinate and analyse service information and data. The post holder will also be responsible for leading on our multi agency audit framework and evaluating the effectiveness of the partnership’s safeguarding arrangements The ability to use your initiative, work as part of team and have creativity and passion to work alongside multi agency professionals is essential.

What You’ll Need

The post requires a level 5 qualification in a relevant subject area and have proven experience of working within Children’s Services such as social work, education, health service or closely related discipline.
