About the Role
We are working with one of our clients to look for an AV & IT Support Specialist to manage day-to-day multimedia infrastructure and end-user computing across their primary West London hub and regional branches.
In this dual-function position, you will maintain seamless meeting room technology, support live corporate events, and deliver top-tier technical helpdesk assistance to internal staff.
Key Responsibilities
- AV Systems & Event Execution: Oversee, audit, and troubleshoot video conferencing units, sound mixing consoles, wireless mic systems, and digital signage across all corporate spaces. Operate AV controls during live hybrid broadcasts and staff town halls.
- Desktop & Workplace Support: Act as an escalation point for Windows 11 and macOS hardware/software tickets, peripheral setups, and mobile device configurations.
- Asset & Vendor Oversight: Maintain precise hardware inventory, manage equipment dispatch/recycling processes, and collaborate with hardware suppliers for repairs and quotes.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Keep IT staging environments neat, enforce security patch standards, and update technical user documentation.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in a dedicated IT/AV technical support environment.
- AV Proficiency: Practical knowledge of modern conference room setups (eg, integrated bar cameras, soundboard mixing, PA gear, and media switchers).
- OS & Network Fundamentals: Proven expertise configuring Windows 11 & macOS, handling MDM/Active Directory administration, and troubleshooting core TCP/IP network issues.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication with a strong customer-first mindset and solid organizational skills.
- Education & Travel: Degree education preferred (or equivalent AV/IT technical certifications). A valid driver's license or personal vehicle ownership is advantageous for occasional site visits.
