Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for vendor integrations, including ID verification partners and backend authentication systems.
  • Manage backend product integrations to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, risk, legal, compliance, and regional market teams to design and deliver acquisition journeys.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear documentation, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies to drive effective prioritisation and delivery.
  • Maintain transparent communication across global teams, managing competing stakeholder priorities.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are understood and reflected in product designs.
  • Track delivery progress, proactively identifying risks and issues.
  • Work with UX and technical teams to refine user journeys and backend flows.
  • Use data and analytical insights to inform product decisions and measure performance.

Key Skills:

  • 2–5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Product Analysis.
  • Experience working with backend systems, APIs, and vendor integrations.
  • Strong product management capabilities in an agile environment.

Job Description

This contract-to-hire Product Manager role sits within a global experiences team and focuses on supporting credit card acquisition journeys across multiple international markets. Based in Brighton with a hybrid pattern of three days onsite per week, you will own backend product integrations, vendor onboarding, and regulatory-sensitive journeys such as ID verification, KYC/KYB, and authentication flows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that complex, multi-market acquisition journeys are robust, compliant, and delivered to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for vendor integrations, including ID verification partners and backend authentication systems that support credit card acquisition across multiple markets.
  • Manage backend product integrations to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that align with regulatory and platform constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, risk, legal, compliance, and regional market teams to design and deliver acquisition journeys that meet business and regulatory requirements.

  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to drive effective prioritisation and delivery.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated sector, including exposure to regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, with experience operating in complex matrix organisations and across multiple markets.
  • Ability to produce strong, structured documentation such as acceptance criteria, user stories, process flows, and business requirement documents.
  • Experience working within agile and scrum methodologies, including active participation in core ceremonies.
