Summary: The Associate Procurement Professional role is designed for a detail-oriented individual eager to advance their career in procurement within a dynamic agency. The position involves supporting Procurement and Specialty Products Categories while engaging with various clients and industries. Key Responsibilities:
- Solicit supplier quotations, analyse cost breakdowns, update pricing records, and manage supplier communications.
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement procedures and industry best practices.
- Lead and support resource projects, resolve procurement challenges, and address invoice-related discrepancies.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding processes and foster strong, ongoing vendor relationships.
- Work in close partnership with site procurement teams.
- Leverage various systems including Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, PROcure, Glovia, and more.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance across quality, cost, logistics, development, and management (QCLDM) metrics.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle: negotiating supplier contracts, evaluating bids, issuing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and managing inventory levels.
- Maintain up-to-date procurement documentation and uphold compliance standards.
