- Ensure a joined-up strategy for the development of Specialist Account Products across LBG.
- Manage the products E2E life cycle and develop capabilities of the Specialist Account Product set.
- Identify, assess, supervise, control, and mitigate risks across the product set.

About This Opportunity
We have a fantastic 12 months fixed term contract opportunity to lead the Specialist Account Product set within the BTB Commercialisation team, Business Transaction Banking business (BTB), part of the wider Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) division. Reporting to the Specialist Liquidity Products Director, you'll be accountable for building, developing and leading this £6bn complex product set and working with the wider team to develop the product strategy. We provide a diverse range of products and services both domestically and internationally to a broad range and size of customers across BCB and CIB. The Specialist Account Product set comprises of SAYE, Registration funds, Pledge account, Insolvency account and Account Bank Account (ABA) Products for which the team are market experts.
Responsibilities span end to end product management: strategy development and execution, risk and regulatory control, P&L management, SME input into change prioritisation and implementation, commercialisation and pricing optimisation, and client engagement where required.
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as an SME for the Specialist Accounts Product set, supporting operations, coverage and the platforms teams though expert knowledge and understanding.
- Contribute to the future development of the combined BTB proposition in an increasing competitive and innovative marketplace.
- Developing the future strategy the Specialist Account Product set including digitisation/automation of servicing journeys
- Building client insight for the Specialist Account Product set to inform and support investment plans
- Build strong relationships with key and diverse partners (including external suppliers) to manage their multiple needs and to ensure the delivery of customer solutions.
- Act as the conduit with other product teams across LBG to ensure BCB has a joined-up strategy for the development of the Specialist Account Products.
- Effectively manage the products E2E life cycle and develop the capabilities of the Specialist Account Product set, working alongside our Risk, Governance, Finance and Operational partners.
- Identify, assess, supervise, control, and mitigate risks across the product set and ensure effective governance and oversight.

Demonstrated experience in product management within a commercial environment. Experience in project management relating to system or architectural changes. Senior stakeholder management experience, dealing with both internal and external relationships. P&L management, financial literacy and market understanding to drive Product income and performance.
