Associate Director of History (Part Time) Job description Delta Academies Trust are looking to appoint an Associate Director of History to join us in September 2026 on a part time, permanent basis.

Your new role As an Associate Director of History, you will be part of a team of lead professionals that take responsibility for the quality of History provision, curriculum teaching and assessment. You will be jointly accountable for History performance improvement, attainment and progress in your discreet subject area.

You will work closely with Senior Leadership and Subject Leadership Teams to accelerate improvement and raise standards. You will plan and teach high quality lessons, deliver intervention programmes and challenge and support your colleagues to achieve stretching targets for student outcomes. You will analyse performance data to ensure that students are appropriately targeted for support and work across the Trust to ensure consistency of subject quality and delivery throughout the network of Academies.
