Summary: The Assistant Programme Manager will support the operational delivery of a public sector programme in Central London. This role involves assisting with project planning, reporting, and risk management, as well as responding to invitations to tender. The position requires participation in projects aligned with the programme's priorities and adherence to organizational values and policies. Immediate start is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Programme Manager in the operational delivery of the Programme, including reporting, project plans, and risks analysis and management.
- Assist the Programme Manager to plan and respond to the invitations to tender.
- Participate in relevant projects that support the delivery of the Programmes priorities and the objectives of sponsored programmes and activities.
- Model the organisation values, and undertake all responsibilities with due regard to the relevant policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post.
Key Skills:
- Experience in programme or project management.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Ability to assist in planning and responding to tenders.
- Understanding of public sector policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
