Key Responsibilities:

We are looking to recruit a number of skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Practitioners to join our team to support delivery of an ‘Alternative to Admission’ community hub pilot for children and young people experiencing mental health crisis. We are looking for team members who are compassionate and able to engage with young people and their families/carers at times of crisis, within a community-based provision, working along-side the CAMHS Crisis and Unscheduled Care Service. Person specification Experience Essential criteria Experience of working directly supporting children in Health, Education or Social Care setting Desirable criteria Experience working with children or young people with significant developmental difficulties or mental health problems Experience of working with adolescents Qualifications And/or Knowledge Essential criteria Knowledge of a range of procedures and practices, majority non-routine, theoretical knowledge to diploma level or equivalent experience.
