Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly production of schedules and journals for management accounts.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations with variance analysis.
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with complex transactions.
- Assist FP&A team and stakeholders with Fleet expense queries.
- Management accounts preparation including prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset management.
- Review and correction of invoice postings and cost centre allocations.
- Conduct monthly reviews of costs by contract and provide analysis.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.
Key Skills:
- Studying for a professional Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1+ years of finance work experience.
- Good knowledge of basic accounting concepts (debits and credits, trial balance, reconciliations, depreciation, P&L, and balance sheet).
- Excellent computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office and financial software solutions.

As an Assistant Management Accountant you will be supporting the Financial Reporting Accountant in the preparation, collation and reporting of monthly P&L and balance sheet. Management Accounts Preparation Including Key Elements Prepayments. Accruals. Fixed Assets additions, disposals and depreciation. Fleet costs. Review and correction of invoice postings and cost centre allocations. Review of month end costs by contract and providing any resulting analysis. Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations. Ad hoc Financial reporting and analysis.

To be considered as an Assistant Management Accountant, you will need: Studying for a professional Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 1+ years of Finance work experience.
