Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and guidance on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations.
- Support managers in handling disciplinary, grievance, and performance-related matters.
- Assist with job evaluations and ensure fair, consistent assessments.
- Work closely with trade unions and key stakeholders to resolve employee issues.
- Analyse HR data, provide insights, and support decision-making.
- Contribute to policy development, HR projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and empower line managers in effectively managing their teams.
Key Skills:
- CIPD qualification (or working towards it) with experience in a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, employment law, and HR best practices.
- Experience in case management, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
- Ability to interpret HR policies and provide clear, balanced advice to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate HR data and provide insights.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
