Key Responsibilities:

  • Support managers in handling disciplinary, grievance, and performance-related matters.
  • Assist with job evaluations and ensure fair, consistent assessments.
  • Work closely with trade unions and key stakeholders to resolve employee issues.
  • Analyse HR data, provide insights, and support decision-making.
  • Contribute to policy development, HR projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach and empower line managers in effectively managing their teams.

Key Skills:

  • CIPD qualification (or working towards it) with experience in a complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, employment law, and HR best practices.
  • Experience in case management, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
  • Ability to interpret HR policies and provide clear, balanced advice to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate HR data and provide insights.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
