Summary: The Assistant Engineering Controller at Lear Corporation is responsible for managing financial operations within a Tech Centre, focusing on month-end financial closure and forecasting. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and submit local accounts within corporate systems.
- Manage Engineering and Tooling Budgets, including reporting monthly results and preparing forecasts.
- Produce Engineering Program Status reports to assess profitability of development projects.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and quarterly attest duties.
- Assist with self-audit of Sarbanes-Oxley and perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Key Skills:
- Automotive industry knowledge preferable.
- Experience in a financial accounting environment.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- CIMA / ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with HFM / Hyperion is desirable.
- Professional approach with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
