Summary: The Assistant Divisional Accountant role at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group involves providing high-quality financial support to the Integrated Care Division. Key Responsibilities:
- Process financial information in accordance with procedures to provide monthly reports.
- Investigate complex financial enquiries and provide assistance and advice as needed.
- Produce timely and accurate reports for budget holders, identifying trends and variances.
- Assist in assessing the financial implications of proposals and their affordability.
- Support team development and operational work streams, undertaking ad-hoc tasks as required.
Key Skills:
- AAT member/Certificate Level or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a busy finance department.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and computerised ledger systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of general ledger systems and financial management in medium to large organizations.
