Summary: The Assistant Designer role at Stretchline involves creating innovative product designs and presentations for global brands, focusing on apparel design with an emphasis on sustainability. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate, and prepare presentation materials for sales teams across the group.
  • Research intimate and activewear trends to keep designs fresh and relevant.
  • Design creative elastic, narrow trims and seasonal colour palettes inspired by trend research.
  • Curate presentations for key customers showcasing Stretchline's elastic capabilities.
  • Provide visual merchandising of products for sales teams for customer visits and trade shows.

Key Skills:

  • Degree in contour design or fashion design.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the garment design industry, preferably in lingerie and/or activewear.
  • Strong digital layout and graphic design skills.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience in using Browzwear is desirable.
  • Strong enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills and products.
  • Excellent design and conceptual skills.

Purpose: Work as part of the Group Design team, reporting to the Group Design Lead, to deliver creative product designs and presentations for global brands. Ensuring all physical and digital materials reflect the brand's identity, meet commercial objectives, and support sales growth.

  • Help us continually evolve and provide visual merchandising of products for sales teams to take to customer visits and trade shows.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualifications Degree in contour design or fashion design. Professional Experience Minimum of 3 years' experience in the garment design industry, preferably in lingerie and/or activewear. Strong digital layout and graphic design skills are essential. Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience in using Browzwear is desirable . Personal Characteristics Strong enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills and products. Excellent design and conceptual skills. Commercial product awareness. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
