Summary: The Interim Assistant Company Secretary role involves managing the governance infrastructure of a regulated financial services bank during a critical growth phase. Reporting to the General Counsel, the position requires expertise in company law and governance, with responsibilities including statutory filings and supporting board meetings. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop the governance framework in line with regulatory changes
- Provide high-quality governance and company law advice
- Manage statutory filings and maintain company records
- Support meetings at executive, board, and committee level – including minute-taking
- Oversee insurance renewals and maintain the Authorised Signatory List
- Support shareholder communications and relationships
Key Skills:
- ICSA/CG qualified or qualified solicitor with strong company secretarial experience
- Excellent knowledge of UK company law and governance
- Confident and efficient minute-taker at board and executive level
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive
- Experience in financial services or a regulated environment preferred
