Summary: The Interim Assistant Company Secretary role involves managing the governance infrastructure of a regulated financial services bank during a critical growth phase. Reporting to the General Counsel, the position requires expertise in company law and governance, with responsibilities including statutory filings and supporting board meetings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop the governance framework in line with regulatory changes
  • Provide high-quality governance and company law advice
  • Manage statutory filings and maintain company records
  • Support meetings at executive, board, and committee level – including minute-taking
  • Oversee insurance renewals and maintain the Authorised Signatory List
  • Support shareholder communications and relationships

Key Skills:

  • ICSA/CG qualified or qualified solicitor with strong company secretarial experience
  • Excellent knowledge of UK company law and governance
  • Confident and efficient minute-taker at board and executive level
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive
