The Role
You'll support the Commercial Manager with the day-to-day commercial management of works contracts across a fast-paced infrastructure programme.
The position will involve post-contract administration, stakeholder engagement and supporting commercial reporting activities while ensuring contracts are administered effectively and in line with governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer short-form works contracts and support post-contract commercial activities.
- Manage compensation events, applications for payment and contract change processes.
- Support the Commercial Manager with monthly commercial reporting requirements.
- Assist with commercial governance, contract administration and record keeping.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the management of commercial risks and commercial performance across assigned contracts.
- Provide commercial support within a fast-paced project environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Quantity Surveying or similar commercial management background.
- Strong post-contract administration experience.
- Experience administering compensation events, applications for payment and contract change processes.
- Experience working within infrastructure, construction, rail or major project environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and complex delivery environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting commercial reporting and governance activities.
- Previous TfL experience highly desirable.
