A public sector organisation is seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager to support the delivery of a major Minor Works & Renewals Framework procurement programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement, commercial or buying professional looking to develop their career within a high-profile public sector environment whilst gaining exposure to large-scale infrastructure and construction procurement activities.
You'll work closely with an experienced Commercial Manager and support the end-to-end procurement process, helping to coordinate stakeholders, manage tender activities and ensure that commercial processes are delivered efficiently, compliantly and on schedule.
This is an initial contract until mid December based in Central London with hybrid working available (2 days per week onsite). The daily rate for the role is up to £350 per day via an Umbrella company (inside IR35).
- Supporting end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities.
- Assisting with the delivery of the Minor Works & Renewals Framework procurement.
- Managing procurement activities through e-tendering systems.
- Coordinating tender clarification processes and bidder communications.
- Organising evaluation and moderation meetings.
- Preparing and maintaining procurement documentation, records and trackers.
- Supporting contract and supplier management activities.
- Assisting with commercial governance and reporting requirements.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement across project teams and suppliers.
- Contributing to sourcing strategies and value-for-money initiatives.
- Promoting procurement best practice and responsible procurement principles.
