Summary: The Assistant Care Manager at Caudwell House will support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality care for children with disabilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • A passion for working with children and a genuine understanding of the challenges they and their families face.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and support staff effectively.

Job Summary

Caudwell House, a children’s disability home ran by Nottinghamshire Council, is looking for an Assistant Care Manager to join our proactive and skilled management team. In this role, you will provide effective support to the Registered Manager, ensuring oversight and management of the delivery of high-quality care for children with physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties and/or health needs. You will take on a hands-on management role, balancing operational responsibilities with direct involvement with the children. This is a busy and rewarding role where your judgement, leadership, and approach will directly influence children’s safety, wellbeing, and quality of life. It is a full-time position and involves working shifts and weekends.
