Key Responsibilities:
- Source and develop products in collaboration with the buyer.
- Maintain and update systems to support department development.
- Analyze market data to identify trends and assess competition.
- Plan and control the department’s critical path for buying activities.
- Assist in preparing range reviews and selection meetings.
- Manage in-house order database and visual catalogues.
- Oversee the sample process and liaise with suppliers to meet deadlines.
- Maximize sales and profit by analyzing business performance and making recommendations.
- Control and manage stock intake and shipping processes.
- Supervise the buyer’s assistant and ensure timely order generation.
- Compile weekly sales reports and end-of-season analysis.
- Support effective communication within the team and with external partners.
- Participate in team meetings and support team development.
