Your new role
Working closely with the Finance Manager and Management Accountant, you will support the day-to-day running of the finance function whilst gaining exposure to wider accounting responsibilities.
- Purchase Ledger processing and supplier management
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control support
- Accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with management accounts preparation
- Budget monitoring and reporting
- Month-end accounting activities
- Supporting project accounting processes
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Assisting with finance process improvements and systems developments
What you'll need to succeed: To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- AAT Level 4 qualification or be actively studying towards AAT
- Previous experience within an Assistant Accountant, Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role
- Experience with purchase ledger and bank reconciliations
- Knowledge of accruals and prepayments
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- The ability to adapt within a growing and changing business environment
