Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-end close including accruals, prepayments and journals
  • Revenue and cost analysis across multiple sites
  • Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Cashflow forecasting and working capital management
  • Support with year-end and liaising with external accountants
  • VAT returns and compliance
  • Improving processes, controls and reporting where needed
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis to support operational decision-making

Key Skills:

  • Immediately available (or on very short notice)
  • Sage experience
  • Bank reconciliation experience

Halliday Marx are partnering with a small, fast-growing hospitality business based in South West London is seeking an immediately available Assistant Accountant to join on an interim basis. The successful candidate must be comfortable doing bank reconciliations on Sage.

Responsibilities

  • Month-end close including accruals, prepayments and journals
