Summary: The Assistant Accountant role at Robert Half involves supporting the finance team by performing essential tasks such as bank reconciliations, balance sheet management, and month-end support. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular Bank Account Reconciliations
- Maintain clean and accurate Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Conduct the weekly BACS payment run
- Assist the Financial Controller in preparing for the annual financial audit
- Prepare and submit the monthly VAT return
- Support Month-End Procedures including posting month-end journals and updating overhead summaries and reports
- Provide Accounts Payable support by processing supplier reconciliations and assisting with daily tasks and holiday cover
- Provide Credit Control support by posting debit notes and assisting with daily credit control tasks and holiday cover
- Participate in ad hoc finance projects and tasks as required
- Work closely with other departments, supporting cross-functional finance queries and activities (business partnering)
Key Skills:
