Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate stock movements with Delivery and Partner Teams.
  • Accept deliveries of assets and manage stock by booking-in and booking-out.
  • Attend customer meetings related to stock management and maintain auditable processes.
  • Unbox and bundle assets for dispatch or collection.
  • Conduct ad-hoc/monthly audit checks and stock management reporting.
  • Monitor open calls and align hardware and engineers to meet SLAs.
  • Contact clients to arrange appointments and record updates accurately.
  • Assist with disposals preparation and collection.
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks as requested by the Team Leader.

Key Skills:

  • Understanding of end user IT infrastructure (Desktops, Laptops, Printers, etc.).
  • Proficiency in IT applications such as MS Excel, Service Now, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Detailed Description From Employer:

Asset Management and Administrator The  role acts as both as a specialist in managing assets and co-ordination of on-site activities You will be responsible for the above activities based on-site at Bristol (Central hub) and on the associated sites in line with industry best practice and common tools. You will need to act as a first point of contact  Internally and with the customer in relation to Your duties Main Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

  • Logistics
    • Work with Delivery and Partner Teams to facilitate Stock Movements
    • Accept deliveries of assets delivered to the site.
    • Work closely with the customer asset management teams, attend customer meetings in relation to stock management.
    • Unbox and bundle assets ready for dispatch or collection.
    • Own and maintain fully auditable end-to-end processes for robust stock control.
    • Ensure storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Stock Management & Disposal
    • Manage stock by booking-in, booking-out and maintaining an auditable trail of stock
    • Complete Ad-hoc/Monthly Audit Checks.
    • Complete on Stock Management Reporting
    • Work with HCL HAM team in India as required
    • Work with HAM Team  in maintaining Run-Rate Usage levels against demand, ensuring the required Bad Stock is tested to maintain required Stock levels.
    • Input to the Monthly Peripheral usage/requirements to maintain Stock levels.
    • Assist with Disposals preparation/collection.
  • Co-ordination
    • Monitor open calls to align hardware and engineers to ensure that they are actioned within SLA or as per any pre-arranged appointments.
    • Contact Clients to book/arrange appointments
    • Ensuring all call and completion updates are recorded accurately as per current processes and procedures.
    • Escalate calls approaching breach of SLA to the engineer and/or appropriate Team Leader.
    • To carry out other ad-hoc admin tasks as requested by the Team Leader. An example will be to provide backfill/coverage for the reporting function which provides M.I. from the ticketing data.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of different types of end user IT Infrastructure – Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Handhelds, Smartphone etc.
  • Good understanding of using IT Applications i.e MS Excel, Service Now and Outlook
