Summary: The Assembly Mechanic role based in Bournemouth involves assembling, maintaining, and testing various mechanical and electronic aircraft components in compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and other Technical data required for Repair & Overhaul duties.
• Perform preliminary inspections including diagnostic tests, disassembly, cleaning, and component inspection.
• Determine materials required for Overhaul/Repair.
• Repair/Overhaul and assemble units according to approved technical data.
• Conduct final tests to determine eligibility for return to service.
• Prioritize and process units to meet customer due dates.
• Process units in accordance with the Quality Management System, Repair Station Manual, and MOE.

Key Skills:

• Previous experience in precision assembly work and testing.
• Mechanical workshop experience along with some electrical experience.
• A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship is desirable but not essential.
