Summary: The AS400/iSeries Developer will play a vital role in supporting technology transformation initiatives for clients by developing interfaces from legacy iSeries data systems to Microsoft Fabric's Bronze Architecture layer. This position also involves delivering updates to a Till interface and facilitating testing and implementation processes. The developer will ensure data integrity, performance, and security during migration and provide technical expertise throughout the project. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement interfaces from AS400/iSeries legacy systems to Microsoft Fabric’s Bronze Architecture layer.
- Collaborate with data architects to ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Ensure the integrity, performance, and security of data migration between platforms.
- Provide technical expertise in AS400/iSeries systems to support ongoing development requirements.
- Lead the delivery of a crucial Till interface upgrade, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
- Coordinate and facilitate end-to-end testing for the Till upgrade project.
