Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and analysis of SCADA systems, focusing on Power Network Analysis and Work Pack Management.
- Run simulations to assess the impact of proposed changes to the network.
- Process and manage work packages for network changes, including safety documentation and permits.
- Create test cases, scenarios, and manage defects effectively.
- Utilize JIRA for test management, including JQL scripting and dashboard reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Good knowledge of SCADA systems, preferably OSI Products.
- Experience with Operator Training Simulator, SCADA Voltage control, and Dynamic Network Visualization.
- Strong experience in testing methodologies such as ST (FAT) and SIT (SAT).
- Excellent test design, development, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in JIRA Test Management and defect management.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to power and control systems.

Job Description:
Essential Knowledge and Experience
Good knowledge of SCADA preferably OSI Products related to one or more of our SCADA Workstreams
- PNA - Power Network Analysis (running simulations to understand the potential impact of proposed changes to the network)
- MWP – Manage Work Pack (processing and managing work packages for changes to the network (emergency and planned) and production of the required safety documentation and permits.
The Test analyst should have knowledge and working experience on-
- Operator Training Simulator
- SCADA Voltage control
- Dynamic Network Visualization
- Dynamic Data Exchange
- CIM Model management in SCADA
- SOM (Switch Order Management)
- Planner
Strong experience testing such as ST (FAT), SIT (SAT)
Strong test design, development, and documentation skills – creating test cases, scenarios, defect management.
Experience using JIRA Test Management (JQL Scripting) and good Dashboard Reporting, Defect Management JIRA and preferably XRAY Test Management
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical challenges related to power systems and control systems.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders.
