Arista Data Center Network Engineer

Summary: The role of Arista Data Center Network Engineer involves working on a significant migration project for a global bank, transitioning from Legacy Cisco to Arista network technology. The position requires in-depth experience with Arista and strong VXLAN EVPN skills within a data center network environment. The engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable network architectures and performing day-to-day network administration. The role is primarily remote but requires on-site presence once a week in London or North West England.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust and scalable datacenter network architectures using Cisco and Arista solutions.
• Configure Layer 2/3 networking protocols, VLANs, STP, VxLAN, BGP, OSPF, and EVPN.
• Perform day-to-day network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in datacenter environments.
• Work on a large migration project, migrating Legacy Cisco to Arista network technology.
• Participate in weekend work during migrations as required.

Salary (Rate): £450.00/daily
