Summary: The Architectural Technician role at Blueprint Recruitment involves working with a design-focused architectural practice on various Hotel, Leisure, and Large-Scale Residential projects for an initial 6-month contract. The position requires proficiency in Revit and experience in RIBA stages 4-5. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with three days in Manchester and competitive hourly rates based on experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation and development of detailed architectural drawings, documentation, and specifications, with the use of industry software platforms.
- Develop designs with a focus on material specification, integration of building systems, and full compliance with current building policies and regulations.
- Ensure project quality by inspecting drawing packages, resolving concerns, and maintaining up-to-date documentation of all works taking place.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary professional project teams and consultants, enforcing the delivery of efficient technical solutions, acting as a lead consultant coordinator.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Revit.
- Experience across RIBA stages 4-5.
- Exposure to Commercial, Leisure, Hospitality, or large-scale residential projects.
- Qualified in architectural technology and/or building engineering, or a similar discipline, and must have security clearance.
- Solid understanding of current building regulations, material systems, and construction detailing.
- Excellent communicator with strong coordination skills, and an ability to adapt effectively across a variety of disciplines.
