Summary: The Architectural Designer role at Extension Architecture & Interiors LTD involves working within the Planning Team to prepare Revit and AutoCAD drawings for planning applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Revit and AutoCAD drawings for planning applications
- Use excellent people skills and presentation abilities to effectively convey ideas and concepts to key stakeholders
- Assist in the coordination and management of planning applications, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and initiative in handling your own projects
- Conduct planning research and apply planning policies to designs
- Collaborate with the design team on concept development and project execution
- Ensure project deadlines are met and provide regular reporting
Key Skills:
- Degree in Architecture or related field (RIBA/CIAT accredited)
- Experience securing 30+ planning permissions within the UK
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural roles, preferably focused on RIBA Stages 0-3
- Working use of Revit
- Right to work in the UK is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
