Summary: The Architectural Designer role at Extension Architecture & Interiors LTD involves working within the Planning Team to prepare Revit and AutoCAD drawings for planning applications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Revit and AutoCAD drawings for planning applications
  • Use excellent people skills and presentation abilities to effectively convey ideas and concepts to key stakeholders
  • Assist in the coordination and management of planning applications, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and initiative in handling your own projects
  • Conduct planning research and apply planning policies to designs
  • Collaborate with the design team on concept development and project execution
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and provide regular reporting

Key Skills:

  • Degree in Architecture or related field (RIBA/CIAT accredited)
  • Experience securing 30+ planning permissions within the UK
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural roles, preferably focused on RIBA Stages 0-3
  • Working use of Revit
  • Right to work in the UK is required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
