We're developing an educational platform to support GCSE students with their study. As a mum of a GCSE student myself I realised how important practicing past exams and getting feedback is to supporting students prepare for their GCSE exams is and yet I can see how stretched teachers are in being able to mark and give this feedback. I've created a platform to give immediate feedback on exam style questions and need some experts to help me ensure its accurate, working properly and will be genuinely beneficial to students. We currently have only two subjects to test the platform: AQA English Literature and Edexcel History. We're looking for an experienced Examiner for each to work on a paid contract.
Responsibilities
- The project is for a pilot test phase so will have 10 exam style questions for each subtopic in the exam with marking schedules to check.
- That they are questions that make sense and will support students in their preparation.
- A basic summary page for each subtopic of the key themes (this is not to replace the curriculum - is just a refresher)
- Test answers that the platform gives students - that the feedback is accurate and useful
Qualifications
- Either AQA English Literature GCSE Examiner Qualification or Edexcel History Examiner Qualification.
Timings
We would like to launch by the 1st of April 2026. We believe the work would equate to a weeks worth which could be spread across a few weeks.
