Summary: The Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) role involves coordinating mental health assessments and ensuring compliance with the Mental Health Act within a supportive team in West Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate mental health assessments and ensure adherence to the Mental Health Act principles.
- Provide statutory emergency duty responses outside of office hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Manage safeguarding risks and deliver high-quality social care services.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-agency environment to support individuals in need.
- Apply for detentions and recommend community treatment orders as an AMHP.
- Conduct interviews and ensure humane transport for individuals admitted to hospital.
Key Skills:
