Summary: The role is for an Apprentice in Road Logistics Operational Finance at Kuehne + Nagel, focusing on sales processing and cost controls within the Operational Finance team. This 24-month apprenticeship offers practical training and study towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. The position is designed for individuals passionate about logistics and customer service, providing an opportunity to learn and grow within the industry. Candidates will work on-site in Nottingham, England, starting in October 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use warehouse management and central finance systems.
• Recognise and address system-related issues.
• Escalate operational finance issues to line manager.
• Support new customer implementations.
• Process invoices and overseas charges accurately.
• Ensure timely billing for all customers.
• Check gross profit for each delivery consignment.
• Update and maintain reports as required.
• Manage workload against business and financial deadlines.

Key Skills:

• Five GCSEs at grades 3 – 9 / A*-D including Maths & English.
• Passion for excellent customer service.
• Strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
• Good planning, numeracy, and organization skills.
• Ability to multitask and be a self-starter.
• Previous use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is beneficial.
