Summary: The Payroll Apprentice role at Volvo Group offers a unique opportunity to support the Payroll team while pursuing a Level 3 CIPP qualification. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing both monthly and weekly payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Manage and verify all variable cash and hours inputs for payroll through manual entry or the Time and Attendance system (SAP).
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and external organizations.
  • Extract and process data from the Time & Attendance system for payroll integration using SAP.
  • Support the administration and processing of statutory payments, including SMP, SPP, SAP, SHPP, and SSP.
  • Administer and manage payroll elements under salary sacrifice schemes such as Private Healthcare and Cycle to Work.
  • Shadow experienced members of the Payroll team and report directly to the Payroll manager.
