Summary: The Apprentice Administrator role offers a 2-year apprenticeship program designed for individuals interested in starting a career in business administration. Participants will gain practical experience through placements within the Council while studying for a Level 3 qualification at North Devon College. The position is based at the Brynsworthy Environment Centre, with opportunities to work in various Council offices. Successful candidates will develop transferable skills and may have the chance to specialize further after completion of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a 2-year apprenticeship program in business administration.
- Study for a Level 3 Business Administration qualification at North Devon College, attending 1 day a week.
- Work in different parts of the Council with placements lasting between 4 and 12 weeks.
- Gain real-life work experience while earning a salary.
- Possibly specialize in one area after successful completion of Level 3.

Our 2-year apprenticeship programme will enable you to develop a range of highly transferable business administration skills, whilst studying for a Level 3 Business Administration qualification through North Devon College, 1 day a week. You will work in different parts of the Council an average placement lasting between 4 and 12 weeks - giving you real life work experience whilst earning a salary. You may then have an opportunity to specialise in one area and continue your studies at a higher level, upon successful completion of your Level 3. You will be based at the Brynsworthy Environment Centre and may also spend time in other Council Offices based in Barnstaple.
You Will Need To
