Summary: The role of Appointed Person involves overseeing lifting operations on a live site, requiring expertise as a Lift Supervisor and Slinger. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the safe execution of lifting activities while complying with relevant regulations. This position is initially contracted for 4 weeks, with the potential for extension up to 6 months. Immediate availability is required for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Lift Supervisor, Slinger & Appointed Person on site
- Plan and coordinate lifting operations in line with relevant regulations and site requirements
- Produce comprehensive and compliant Lift Plans
- Ensure safe execution of all lifting activities
- Liaise with site teams, crane operators, and subcontractors
Key Skills:
- Valid Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) certification
- Experience producing and signing off lift plans
- Comfortable working as both AP and Lift Supervisor
- Available to start immediately
