Summary: The Applications Solution Architect will join the Architecture team at NCFE, focusing on the design and documentation of key systems and processes. This role involves shaping application architecture decisions and implementations, driving the adoption of new technologies, and supporting various teams in creating robust application solutions. The position requires expertise in Azure Integration Services and a strong background in software development within the educational sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting standards, principles, policies, and designs for application architecture aligned with enterprise architecture vision.
• Driving the adoption of new processes, techniques, and technologies within software delivery teams.
• Supporting Information Security, Software Delivery, and Support teams in designing and implementing application solutions.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for application designs, system interoperability, and acceptable technologies.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Azure Integration Services and designing Microsoft 365 and Azure-based solutions.
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies such as CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevOps.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively identify impactful areas.
• Previous experience in software development and design, collaborating with technical teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Knowledge and experience in the educational sector and regulatory frameworks.
