Applications Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Support sales team to give technical assistance within End User Companies
• Report to sales team & sales manager on progress of technical projects
• Provide customers with technical reports and cost-saving opportunities
• Work on own initiative to generate new opportunities
• Be part of a team that can respond to the requirements of customers
• Provide product training to customers
• Develop good working relationships with relevant stakeholders in both new and existing customers
• Sell cutting & machining products and solutions to existing and newly developed customers
• Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
• Provide on and off-site technical support
• Retain existing customers and negotiate contractual agreements
• Provide customers with tangible and measured cost savings
• Recommend appropriate solutions for customer requirements
• Work towards established KPIs and sales targets
