An opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineer / Sustaining Engineer to join our Client’s engineering team in Aviemore. This exciting role bridges hardware engineering, support, and production interface functions, with a focus on sustaining existing products and resolving technical issues. This role will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and quality of our Client’s hardware offering by identifying and diagnosing hardware issues, supporting RMAs, and feeding back insights into both design and production.
What you'll bring:
- A degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience in hardware or sustaining engineering
- Strong debugging and lab skills
- An eye for detail and a clear, methodical approach to problem-solving
- Confident technical communicator – both verbal and written.
- (Bonus) Python test automation experience
