Summary: The Application End User Device Specialist role at Warner Bros. Discovery involves providing technical support for end user devices within the Studios & Experiences Technology group. The position requires on-site presence five days a week and focuses on ensuring seamless operational support for various studio and tour businesses. The specialist will handle hardware issues, manage service requests, and assist in system upgrades while maintaining high customer service standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for end user device application hardware issues across studios and tour businesses.
- Support the Project Ops team with hardware build, testing, and application support.
- Utilize the helpdesk system to triage, answer, and resolve service requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with vendors to log service tickets and follow up on incidents to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct regular PCI audits and maintain meticulous detail.
- Update asset management information and assist with user access reviews.
- Lead testing for system upgrades and partner with the business for user acceptance testing.
- Be part of the service team supporting priority issues on an on-call basis.
- Travel to remote sites as needed for business requirements.
Key Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in an Application Support role.
- Extensive experience supporting end user devices including mobile devices, point of sale systems, payment terminals, printers, and scanners.
- Experience using automation tools for mass deployment of point of sale and mobile devices (Microsoft INTUNE).
- Skilled in investigating and resolving issues with complex transactional point of sale systems.
- Experience managing mobile devices using Microsoft INTUNE.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills using knowledge, facts, and data.
- Experience working in a PCI environment.

We are now looking for an Application End User Device Specialist, to support the successful day to day operational running of the tour and studio businesses, providing the best technical support to ensure that visitors to the tour and production teams at the studios have a seamless experience.
Please note: This role is based on-site five days per week.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Be the go-to point of contact for all end user device application hardware issue across the studios and tour business.
- Be a resource for the Project Ops team where required (hardware build /Testing/application support)
- Using our helpdesk system ensure that all service requests are triaged, answered, and resolved in a timely manner to meet our SLA`s
- Work with our vendors to log service tickets and follow up on incidents to ensure we are meeting SLA`s for service.
- Complete regular PCI Audits, being meticulous with details
- Update asset management information
- Assist with regular reviews of user’s access to the various systems at the tour and studios
- Assisting in system upgrades where necessary, lead on the testing for these upgrades, partnering with the business for user acceptance testing.
- Forming part of Service team that support priority issues and on an “on call” basis
- Flexibility to travel to remote sites due to business needs
Qualifications & Experience…
- 2-3 years’ experience working in an Application Support role.
- Extensive experience with supporting end user devices: Mobile Devices, Point of Sale, Payment terminals, Printers, Scanners.
- Experience with using Automation tools for mass deployment of point of sale and mobile devices (Microsoft INTUNE)
- Experienced in investigating issues with complex transactional Point of Sale systems and resolving these issues.
- Experience in managing mobile devices using (Microsoft INTUNE) as a tool to do this.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
