Summary: The Application Support Specialist will serve as the primary support for internal users, addressing technical issues across various systems, including ERP and software platforms. This role involves collaboration with global and local teams to enhance application performance and contribute to technology transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and effective technical support for enterprise applications, including troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
  • Support ERP systems with a focus on SAP S/4HANA, identifying opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Work with internal teams to deliver long-term solutions to recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and support databases, particularly Microsoft SQL and Oracle.
  • Ensure all applications meet IT security standards and collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of technology solutions across our European operations.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in system and application support within a complex business environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA, including past involvement in implementations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Based within commuting distance (15 miles) of one of our European offices: Crawley (UK), Milan (IT), or Dresden (DE).

Application Support Specialist - 6 month contract

?? Location: Crawley, UK | Milan, Italy | Dresden, Germany (Must live within 15 miles of one of these sites)

As our Application Support Specialist, you'll be the first line of support for internal users, resolving technical issues across systems, ERP, and software platforms. You'll work closely with global and local teams to improve application performance, assist with implementations, and contribute to wider technology transformation projects.
