Summary: The ERP Project Engineer role involves leading and delivering key projects focused on the Epicor ERP platform, including system upgrades and integrations. The position requires strong project management skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders and third-party partners. The contractor will be responsible for driving process improvements and providing technical guidance. This is a hybrid contract position based in Manchester, outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver Epicor ERP projects, including upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Own project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Manage vendor and implementation partner relationships.
- Drive process improvement and system optimisation.
- Provide high-level support and technical guidance for ERP and business applications.
- Support Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure where required.
- Produce clear documentation and handover materials.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering Epicor ERP projects in a commercial environment.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
- Ability to work independently and deliver to agreed milestones.
- Experience with Power BI, cloud platforms, and automation tools (desirable).
- ERP, Agile, or Prince2 certifications (desirable).
