Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic , enthusiastic and experienced hospital pharmacist to join our team. As Application/Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will work in partnership with the Salford Royal Hospital pharmacy department and the NCA Digital Team to contribute to the maintenance and support of the hospitals current enterprise and clinical application, specifically related to medication prescribing and administration. In addition to this, you will provide support, alongside colleagues from across the NCA, in the development and implementation of any new electronic prescribing system. You will also provide a clinical pharmacy service on a 50% basis to a specific directorate. We will support you to develop your clinical and leadership skills. To act as specialist Pharmacist throughout the service in relation to the design and implementation of clinical applications. To support on the development and implementation of electronic prescribing within the Trust in support of the Medicines Safety Agenda. To foster and maintain links with appropriate clinical and management staff, both within and outside the Trust, as part of the support and implementation of clinical information systems. To form part of the Enterprise and Clinical Applications Team and support with development, support, maintenance and clinical check of electronic prescribing and medicines administration configuration within NCA clinical systems. Analysis of current work practices/workflows and redesign utilising the clinical application. Work closely with other pharmacists to provide a ward based clinical pharmacy service to a specialised area.
