Summary: Our client, a company in the Media space, is seeking a DevSecOps/Application Security Engineer for a 6-month contract. The role requires expertise in software development and information security, with a focus on security engineering and DevSecOps best practices. The position involves working on-site in London for two days a week and is classified as inside IR35. The contract offers a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in software development with a focus on information security.
- Implement security engineering practices, including networking, software supply chain, and application security.
- Stay updated with current standards in the information security space, such as NIST Secure Software Development Framework and SLSA.
- Apply DevSecOps best practices in the engineering process.
Key Skills:
- Software Development experience alongside information security.
- Good experience in security engineering, including networking, software supply chain & application security.
- Up to speed with current standards in the information security space: for example NIST Secure Software Development Framework, Supply chain Levels for Software Artifacts (SLSA).
- DevSecOps best practices experience.
