Summary: Our client, a company in the Media space, is seeking a DevSecOps/Application Security Engineer for a 6-month contract. The role requires expertise in software development and information security, with a focus on security engineering and DevSecOps best practices. The position involves working on-site in London for two days a week and is classified as inside IR35. The contract offers a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in software development with a focus on information security.
  • Implement security engineering practices, including networking, software supply chain, and application security.
  • Stay updated with current standards in the information security space, such as NIST Secure Software Development Framework and SLSA.
  • Apply DevSecOps best practices in the engineering process.

Our client are a company in the Media space, they are on the lookout for a DevSecOps/Application Security Engineer to come in on a contract basis.

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Software Development experience alongside information security
  • Good experience in security engineering, including networking, software supply chain & application security
  • Up to speed with current standards in the information security space: for example NIST Secure Software Development Framework, Supply chain Levels for Software Artifacts (SLSA).
  • DevSecOps best practices experience

Contract is running for 6 months initially, paying up to £600p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) and will be 2 days per week onsite in London.
